The formula
Annual cost = cans per week × 52 × average price per can.
That is the whole calculation. The only honest complication is which price you plug in: the price at your usual store, or the best price a comparison finds. The gap between those two numbers, multiplied by 208 or 364 cans, is where the real money is, and it is the gap this article is about.
Three usage scenarios
These are assumptions for the arithmetic, not measurements of typical use. Adjust to your own count; the formula scales linearly.

The per-can price is a lever, not a constant
Usage is hard to change and this site takes no position on it. Price per can, though, is very movable, and the multiplier is what makes it matter: at 208 cans a year, one euro off the per-can price is 208 euro off the annual bill, and at 364 cans it is 364 euro.
Two levers move the per-can number down.
1. Let one shipping fee cover more cans
